Capacity: 60 people for table seating/100 people for theatre seating and max fire regulation. This room is often used for birthday parties, workshops, meetings and fitness classes. The Nanaimo Aquatic Centre is home to one of the largest wave pools in western Canada and one of the island's busiest 50 metre pools. The NAC, as it is commonly referred to, is a great destination for folks of all ages; from elite athletes for training to families looking for an active outing together. The centre is located within the Larry McNabb Sports Zone near the campus of Vancouver Island University. The NAC is also the site of one of the city's public weight rooms and includes an impressive collection of fitness equipment.
