About this Course

Walk along Departure Creek to learn about the value of this urban stream for spawning and rearing salmon and trout. Learn how Departure Creek has transitioned over time, the important restoration projects that have been completed to return it to a sustainable fish bearing creek and why it remains an important and valuable natural asset to our community. Dress for the weather and bring your mask for when physical distancing is not possible. All registrants will go home with a package of Native Plant Seeds to plant in their garden.
